The Life Cycle of a Sea Turtle
Our Stay, Play, and Learn students have loved our unit on the Great Barrier Reef. This week we have been focusing on the life cycle of a sea turtle. We watched the turtle crawl to dry land and lay her eggs. When the eggs hatched the baby turtles would scamper across the sand to the sea.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Highland Catholic Preschool celebrated Saint Patrick's Day with a visit from leprechauns, a festive parade, and lots of Irish Jigs! The children constructed elaborate traps to catch the mischievous leprechauns. The water during snack even turned green....Don't worry, one child made sure to let everyone know the water was still "fresh!"

The Royal Feast was a special day in our 2 Day Program. We took royal portraits on a throne, dance to regal music and enjoyed a scrumptious feast! We loved the bubbly apple juice the most!

Kookaburra Sits In The Old Gum Tree.....
Our preschooler enjoyed drawing kookaburra's sitting in an old gum tree. We have enjoyed learning this classic song during Stay, Play, and Learn. The children added watercolors to their creations. The best part of the day was playing on our playground after a busy afternoon of singing, playing, and painting!
